Having a bike accident isn’t a nice experience for anybody – especially not for Samantha Ronson, who fell off her bike at the weekend in LA and had to get 12 stitches in her face.
And in the time honoured tradition of tweeting photos of themselves, Sam took to Twitter to show us her injuries (and they are pretty bad looking). But instead of taking a crap-looking picture like the rest of us would, Sam stayed ever so cool uploaded a picture of her looking all trendy with her Hipstamatic app on her iPhone. You know, that one all hipsters have to make their photos look all 70s and y’know, cool.
But back to the injury. Along with her pic, Sam tweeted,
“Let this be a lesson... if you have a driver's license you probably don't need to be on a bmx bike. wear a helmet kids!!!"
Yes. Sensible.
Regarding her appearance – she’s got badly bruised eyes and a swollen lip – Sam said she looked like she’s done “3 secs in the ring with [Mike] tyson in his prime.” And it pretty much looks like it too.
Get well soon, Sam. And maybe stay off the BMX, no matter how trendy you think it is. Maybe upgrade to a fixed-gear next time. It’s what all the cool kids are riding. Apparently.
